Lough Derg Y.C

Lough Derg yacht club, founded in 1835, is situated in Dromineer, close to Nenagh, in Co. Tipperary, Ireland.

Day membership is available to visitors to the club and adult sailing classes are available for non-members. The club offers great sailing and cruising for all types of boats. Dingy classes sailed include Optimist, Mirrors, Lasers, 420's and the Shannon One Design. The club is fully wheelchair accessible with toilets and a shower room for people with disabilities. An accessible lift to the bar and function area on 1st floor is also provided. The picture below was taken at the Martin 16 European and Irish Championships in 2007. This illustrates how accessible the pontoon is for an assisted lift in and out of your boat. There is however no hoist at present.
